Think Smart, Live Smart!

Mayor John Tory’s revolutionary SmartTrack will bring exciting new connections and convenience to residents of Canary District. The new SmartTrack will get you wherever you want to go in the city quickly and efficiently. You can walk from your home at Canary District to the planned new station on the SmartTrack in just minutes, and arrive at Union Station in one stop. Whether you want to go to the east end, north to Yonge & Finch or west to the Pearson Airport, the SmartTrack is the smart way to travel from your home at Canary District.

The newly completed Cherry Street streetcar line is another smart way to get from King Street to Queens Quay Boulevard and the Port Lands. The new line will be ready for opening after the 2015 Pan Am Games conclude in Toronto, before residents start moving in to Canary District. Plus, with the opening of the new Bayview Street extension, residents of Canary District will have easier access to the new public spaces being built in the neighbourhood, including Corktown Common park, Riverside Square and Underpass Park.

Dining, shopping, activities, and transit at your doorstep, only at Canary District.
