The newly completed Cherry Street streetcar line is another smart way to get from King Street to Queens Quay Boulevard and the Port Lands. The new line will be ready for opening after the 2015 Pan Am Games conclude in Toronto, before residents start moving in to Canary District. Plus, with the opening of the new Bayview Street extension, residents of Canary District will have easier access to the new public spaces being built in the neighbourhood, including Corktown Common park, Riverside Square and Underpass Park.
