For members with mobility challenges the new facility has equipment that offers ease of use, and specialty devices such as a lift to help assist entry into the pool. The Cooper Koo YMCA includes spaces for youth and community activities, a gymnasium, swimming pool, an accessible 30,000 sq.-ft. sustainable green roof, fitness studios and exercise areas. The facility offers something for everyone with daily BodyFit, yoga and boot camp classes for the result driven member to community swim and barbeques for the new families joining the community.
